Simple Summary: BrandedQR does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data. All QR code generation happens locally in your browser.

• QR code generation happens using local JavaScript libraries
• Your input text is processed locally to create QR codes
• Logo images are stored in Chrome's local storage for your convenience
• No data is transmitted to external servers
• No data is shared with third parties

Chrome Extension Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions and here's why:

• sidePanel: To display the QR generator in Chrome's sidebar
• activeTab: To integrate with the browser's extension button
• storage: To save your logo locally for reuse across sessions

These permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality and do not enable data collection.

Data Storage

The only data stored by this extension is:

• Logo images you choose to upload (stored locally in Chrome storage)
• No user input text is stored or retained
• No usage analytics or tracking data is stored

You can remove stored logos at any time using the "Change Logo" or remove logo functions within the extension.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or external APIs. All functionality is self-contained within the extension.

Data Security

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted:

• There is no risk of data breaches involving your personal information
• Your QR code content remains private and local
• Logo images are stored securely in Chrome's local storage
